What Spreadfilms.AI is — in plain terms.
What is Spreadfilms.AI?
A video operating system: a central asset library, templating engine and collaboration layer that lets companies, teams and agencies produce, localize and distribute video as a repeatable process. One master becomes hundreds of variants across markets, languages and channels — on brand by default.
How is this different from Premiere or CapCut?
Those are cut tools for single films. Spreadfilms.AI sits a layer above: it governs your master assets, locks brand templates, and turns one approved video into hundreds of on-brand variants. Pure editing stays where it belongs; scaling, governance and distribution move here.
Who is it for?
Marketing organizations, in-house video teams and agencies that ship video across multiple markets, languages or channels and need brand consistency at volume. CMOs, brand leads, content ops, agency producers.
What does "video operating system" mean in practice?
One place where master assets, brand templates, rights, review and distribution live. Editors, marketers and integrations all plug in; the OS keeps every output brand-true and audit-trailed.
What output formats are supported?
All major aspect ratios — 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 — from one timeline. Final files render to MP4 with SRT/VTT subtitle sidecars and a shareable landing page per video.
How brand stays true across thousands of renders.
How do templates work?
Every output starts from a reusable template, not a blank timeline. A market or campaign team adapts the master in clicks — language, logo, product, ratio — without touching brand-locked structure.
How do you keep our brand consistent at volume?
Fonts, colors, motion designs and visual AI styles are anchored centrally. Editors can't override locked typography, color or logo placement; only approved templates promote into the global library.
What does scaling one video to hundreds look like?
The Variant Builder takes one master and a data source — spreadsheet or API feed — and renders the full series in parallel: per SKU, per market, per recipient.
Where do master assets live?
In the Content Hub — a central asset library with ingestion, tagging, automatic format conversion and permissioned reuse. It's the single source of truth every template pulls from.
Can subtitles match TikTok/Reels styles?
Yes. Subtitle tracks support dynamic highlighting tuned for short-form social, with brand-locked styling. Motion designs are drag-and-drop and reusable across projects.
What is Voice Plus?
A workflow built for audio-driven formats like interviews and O-Tons. B-roll auto-fits to the audio track, so editors aren't trimming clip-by-clip to match a narrator.
How do teams find the right template?
Campaigns and Collections bundle templates and assets by campaign or audience, so stakeholders see only what's relevant to them — not the whole library.
How AI fits into your pipeline.
What can AI generate?
Voiceover across major languages, music tracks, sound effects, motion sequences from the template library, and brand-true product images from your uploaded cutouts. Every element is editable afterward.
Is AI output publish-ready?
For paid social and organic, yes — because it draws from your locked templates, typefaces and approved voices. For premium TVC work, teams use AI as a fast first draft, then polish in the manual editor.
How does brand-true AI image generation work?
Upload product cutouts and reference styles once. The system uses them as anchors when generating shots, so AI-created visuals stay on-brand. The same approach applies to AI-generated B-roll and scene compositions.
Can I edit AI output by natural language?
Yes. An in-editor assistant handles edit operations in plain language — "tighten the intro by two seconds", "add Spanish captions to all 9:16 variants in this folder". It works against your brand library, so its suggestions stay on-brand.
The platform built for repeatable workflows.
Do you have an API?
Yes. Template-driven video generation is fully API-accessible. Any CRM, PIM or marketing automation tool can trigger renders, push assets and receive webhook callbacks when finished files are ready.
Can we generate personalized video from a CRM event?
Yes. A purchase, signup or milestone in your CRM calls the API and renders a personalized video — name on screen, voiceover in the recipient's language, CTA tied to their record. Every recipient gets a unique, on-brand asset, no manual production.
How does global campaign localization work?
A master video is shared centrally; each market team swaps language, logo and local product themselves inside the template. No central bottleneck, no brand drift, no agency RFQ between every rollout.
Can we run hundreds of performance-ad variants?
Yes. Performance teams use the Variant Builder to generate per-audience, per-keyword video ads from a single template, then push the finished files straight to ad accounts via webhook.
What procurement and IT need to know.
Where is data hosted?
EU data centers in Germany. EU-only by default; no master assets or rendered output leave the EU unless you explicitly enable another region.
What's the compliance posture?
GDPR-compliant, DPA on request. EU-only processing by default. AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. Detailed security documentation and certifications under NDA.
Do you support SSO and SAML?
Yes — OIDC and SAML 2.0 on Enterprise, with SCIM provisioning, configurable session length and IP allowlists.
What does the audit log capture?
Every login, role change, asset upload, render, approval, share-link creation and template promotion. Exportable as CSV or pushed to your SIEM via webhook.
How do roles and approvals work?
Customer-facing roles — Org Admin and Creator — with an integrated review step for legal or brand sign-off. Approval routing is configurable per folder; bulk-approve clears whole batches in one pass.
How does pricing work?
€299 per month for the standard plan, plus €1 per rendered video, plus credits for AI-generated content. Enterprise is volume-based with reserved render capacity, dedicated support and lower per-render pricing as volume scales.
