Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-27

This page lists every cookie and browser-storage entry the spreadfilms.ai marketing site can set on your device, with purpose, provider, lifetime and the legal basis under § 25 TDDDG and the GDPR. Items marked “Consent required” only run after you opt in via our cookie banner.

1. Strictly necessary — no consent required

These entries are required so the website functions correctly. They are set on the basis of § 25 (2) Nr. 2 TDDDG (technical necessity) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

  • sf-consent-v2 (localStorage, first-party) — stores your cookie-banner decision (all / essential) so we don’t re-ask on every visit. Lifetime: until you clear browser storage or 12 months.
  • sf-consent-decided-at (localStorage, first-party) — ISO-8601 timestamp of when you made the decision. Used for record-keeping. Same lifetime as above.

2. Analytics — consent required

Loaded only after you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR + § 25 (1) TDDDG.

  • Plausible Analytics— cookieless, EU-hosted, no personal identifiers. Plausible aggregates pageviews and referrers without setting any cookie on your device. Plausible privacy.
  • Google Analytics 4(measurement ID G-14W9Q7TNBF) — cookies set under your current domain: _ga (client ID, 24 months), _ga_14W9Q7TNBF (session state, 24 months). IP anonymization is enabled, Google Signals and ad personalization are disabled. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin, IE. Google privacy.

3. Withdrawing or changing your consent

Clear the sf-consent-v2entry in your browser storage and reload the page — the cookie banner will reappear and you can choose again. On most browsers: open developer tools → Application / Storage → localStorage → spreadfilms.ai → delete the entry. Browser-wide opt-outs (Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control) are respected: when either signal is present we default to “Essential only”.

4. The platform (app.spreadfilms.ai)

The Spreadfilms.AI product itself uses first-party authentication cookies (session, CSRF token, sign-in state) that are strictly necessary for access control. They live only for the duration of a signed-in session and are documented inside the product’s help center.

5. Embedded content

Some pages embed video or audio assets served from our own domain (no third-party iframes from YouTube, Vimeo or similar). Demo and sample audio play locally from /videos and /audio on this domain and set no cookies.
